the car is running now, still have some DSC problems and the gearbox keeps shifting at 5000 RPM even @ full throttle.

What about your diff specs?
Friend of my had a very disappointing day recently when he figured out that his new diff had the wrong ratio.
However MHD/XHP might help there.
What model is your DSC? Is this DSC used by BMW with this engine/gearbox?
All sensors required connected and wired/mapped?
Any logs?
