Does anyone have a recommendation on where to go to do logging without being harrassed by cops? And please don't say a dyno shop - Been there, done that...it sucks.

Grand Parkway 99 was great for a while...now is too risky with increased police presence...UNDERCOVER vehicles.

Thanks.

Which part of town are you at? On the East side there are plenty of places...

Every Tuesday night we have a meet, either at Home Depot on Uvalde and I10, Bucees in Baytown, or at Royal Purple Races at. From there we go to a few different places. Sometimes 610, I10, Federal...etc look up Top Ten Houston on FB, send a request and we'll get you added. Just this past week there was a N54, who couldn't drive, that got stomped by a factory 2016 Mustang 5.0... video is there as well.

Stomped by a Mustag Gt??? That's embarrassing.

I am not looking to race or film. Just need a quiet stretch to log without harrassment... Alas, I deleted FB due to useless time wasting posts and comments.

Yeah, it was embarassing... anyways, if you find you a stretch near 610 then that should be fine... or just come out to Royal Purple when we rent the track for the night

I just drove the entire length of Uvalde Road... there is literally no place you can log on that road...unless you want to kill yourself.

Just decided to go to Grand Pkwy 99 from 59 and start there. No problems, minimal cars.

I haven't lived in Houston since the 1990's. Been in DFW for the last 10y. Washington D.C., Atlanta GA, Soul SK were where I lived between Houston and DFW.

Will be logging this week at 99 and 59 again. That will be the place until tune is done with Bimmer Life coils.

One of the great thing about the PR coils is I have the tuner that helped design the coils tune my car. One email later and he provided me a custom baked tune specific to my car, mods, logs for PR coils (no need to check PR Coils in MHD at flash time). I have been able to open my gap from 0.021 to 0.025 so far without any issue. Smoother starts, smoother and more predictable acceleration (due to multispark being gone...should all be the same for BL coils). But the big difference is that it only took a single email and a single 2min flash to get here, not a lot of back and forth.

Alex from Bimmerlife recommends .026 for my stock turbo FBO. Will try that first.
