If you have never heard of this check it out here: FreeValve | Setting Engines Free

"
The FreeValve concept, also known as fully variable valve actuation, offers the unique ability to have independent control of the intake and exhaust valves in an ICE. For any engine load criteria, the timing of intake and exhaust can be independently programmed. The system can then “decide” based on driving conditions which one to use to maximize performance or minimize fuel consumption and emissions. This allows a greater degree of control over the engine which in turn provides significant performance benefits.
While the fully variable valve actuation concept has been widely tested, no manufacturer has been able to implement it in large scale production due to various technical problems along with packaging disadvantages and higher cost. The FreeValve technology shows great promise of overcoming these challenges in a cost-effective way."

What do you guys think about this technology? I feel like it is amazing to see that we can have almost 100% control over the engine after this is in place.

Tell me your thoughts on it!

This is obviously the future, I enjoyed the video. Hopefully soon they do away with the traditional valve arrangement too.

Tualatin, or
I love technology that lets me take control of my car and engine. Much like manual transmissions, I feel more connected to it. I think this sounds like a great product.

So cereal... No throttle body, no WG, no pre cats, and infinitely variable... Soooweeet
Yes sir,
Due to the advantages this could propose.. It is highly worth looking into... Power and Fuel economy increased.. Those 2 things dont work together.. With that being said, I call it efficiency.

The overall system changes for more control and comfort.
