Volkswagen makes agreement on remaining 80,000 Dieselgate vehicles

VW was caught in an emissions scandal and has already agreed to drop about 2.7 billion dollars over the next three years to cover the damages inflicted by nearly a half a million 2 liter cars caught in the scandal. The remaining 80,000 vehicles are 3 liter models which they've provided a buy back option for at least 20,000 and all owners will get 'substantial compensation' for the inconvenience.
